Surface Solutions completed a brewery floor renovation in this 75-year-old Goose Island Beer Company’s cooler, protecting it against severe chemical attack.

In just three days, our expert team of flooring specialists at Surface Solutions performed a shot blast and grind on 3,000 square feet of the delaminated concrete slab in a 75-year-old building. We, quickly cut through heavy, built-up residues and removed surface imperfections. Next, the concrete was patched using UCRETE® HF/MF. This is a three-part matte coating treatment and flooring system ideal for coolers and freezers; areas at risk for chemical attack. The surfaces require abrasion, impact, and slip resistance, and must also withstand extreme temperature fluctuations. To further protect the concrete surface against deterioration, we applied a UCRETE® HP at ¼” with a NOVOLAC Lock Coat in Gray.
