When Surface Solutions was approached by the U.S. Military to address their flooring needs at an Air Force Base, Surface Solutions "Attacked the Solution". Surface Solutions transformed the 36,000 SF hangar into a seamless flooring system fit to handle the mighty Apache Helicopter. Additionally, Surface Solutions transformed 3,000 SF of locker and rest room facilities into a seamless flooring system fit to handle any military personnel.

Surface Solutions recommended a three coat epoxy/urethane coating system for the hangar. A urethane finish coat was chosen due to its superior UV, stain, and abrasion resistance. Surface Solutions recommended a Selby Quartz Flooring System, an 1/8" epoxy system, consisting of quartz silica for the locker and rest room areas. Selby Quartz Flooring Systems stand up well to military gear and constant abuse while maintaining cleanable, slip resistant surface.
