The flow of moisture vapor through concrete can cause bond failures to floor coatings and toppings months or years later. In addition to adhesion failure, moisture vapor transmission can cause warping, peeling, unacceptable appearance of resilient floor coverings, and bubbles of efflorescence deposits beneath seamless flooring.Surface Solutions uses a unique 2 component, moisture tolerant, extremely high density epoxy based product which prevents the passage of water vapor and moisture through slabs or walls on or below grade, thus eliminating delamination of adhesives, floor coverings and coatings. It will also prevent capillary infiltration of oil or other chemicals from the ground and can be used to treat oil-contaminated slabs.
