Slip-resistant flooring project overview

The existing concrete flooring in this 3000 square foot facility was deteriorating as a result of chemical exposure, heavy equipment, and expansion and cracking due to temperature fluctuations. Our customer requested a long-lasting flooring solution that would also protect staff from slips and falls in this busy, high-traffic operation.

Ucrete UD200 SR slip-resistant flooring was the solution. It’s ideal in facilities where enhanced slip resistance is required. It’s textured and HACCP compliant, so it provides a durable and safe concrete floor coating for food and beverage operations. Additionally, the application doesn’t require priming or sealing of the substrate. This allowed our flooring experts to install it in a single application. As a result, we reduced the facility’s downtime and completed the project in just five days.

Ucrete RG is an extremely durable polyurethane and concrete hybrid designed for use on vertical surfaces. It’s an ideal formula for curbs, cove bases, drains, and walls.

Together, Ucrete SR and RG provide a powerful barrier against impact, chemical exposure, and thermal shock more effectively than concrete. We use often use these two products for meat, poultry, and dairy plants, pharmaceutical and chemical processing facilities, cold storage spaces.
