SQF International Conference 2015

The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute delivers food safety and quality certification programs to food and beverage companies all over the world. Food Safety and Modernization Act, October 2015

The annual SQF International Conference takes place November 3-5, 2015 at JW Marriott in Indianapolis, IN and is a chance for food safety professionals at all levels of the supply chain to gain expertise and skills that strengthen food safety and quality assurance programs and to collaborate and connect with over 600 peers and suppliers in the food and beverage industry. Most importantly, the conference will provide detailed information and analysis of the Food Safety and Modernization Act (FSMA) final rules due in October 2015 and ensure that you and your company are fully prepared to implement SQF code changes and program improvements coming in 2016.

SQF Quality Achievement Awards

Attendees are treated to a number of educational presentations, roundtables, service exhibitions and idea exchanges facilitated by both industry experts and food safety peers. Many of the presentations are tailored specifically to food safety and quality issues, and give valuable information on how to prevent food fraud, create a food safety culture, measure ROI, identify missteps in the CAPA process and more. The SQF Quality Achievement Awards presentation will recognize the Auditor of The Year, Manufacturer/Distributor/Primary Producer of The Year, Practitioner of The Year and Trainer of the Year.

SQF Institute has also assembled a diverse and entertaining program of featured keynote speakers, including Dr. David Acheson and Melanie Neumann, J.D., M.S. of The Acheson Group, World Champion Eco-Challenge adventure racer Robyn Benincasa, award-winning syndicated radio host Scotty Gunther, Dan Thurmon of Motivation Works, Inc., Nobu Adilman and Daveed Goldman, co-founders of Choir! Choir! Choir!, and magician David Kwong, New York Times puzzle builder and TED speaker, as well as over 25 renowned food industry experts and speakers. The conference isn’t without its fun aspects; a variety of meetups, cocktail parties and gourmet food extravaganzas are also planned.

Solutions Showcase

A cocktail reception takes place Tuesday, November 3 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. In addition to these dedicated exhibit hours, the Solutions Showcase will be open throughout the entire conference.
