When Surface Solutions was approached by Stanley Black and Decker to address their flooring needs, Surface Solutions installed a floor to satisfy the most discriminate tool makers. Stanley Black and Decker needed a flooring solution for its machine shop which could withstand heavy traffic and oils yet slip resistant and easy to clean. Furthermore the tool manufacturer needed a cost effective solution. Surface Solutions recommended a three coat epoxy/high wear urethane coating system.

Surface Solutions recommended a urethane finish coat due to its superior UV, stain, and abrasion resistance. Additionally, a crushed aluminum oxide additive was recommended to dramatically increase the life of the floor. Surface Solutions three coat epoxy/high wear urethane coating system will withstand the constant forklift traffic, coolant, and metal shavings at the machine shop. Surface Solutions exceeded the customers’ expectations through a rapid turn-key installation, quality in house installation, and a single source warranty.
